FRANK EDWARD GRANTS SCHOLARSHIP TO 2 STUDENTS FOR THE COMPLETION OF THEIR EDUCATION.

Some days ago could be the happiest day of Obinna Kalu of Fine Arts(100l) as he bounced home with a full free scholarship grant from the Youth Friendly resource centre programme that held at UNN which featured Frank Edwards as the guest.

It is obvious Kalu knows how to make good use of opportunities because as everyone was planning to attend the program, the guy was preparing what to present. It was therefore surprising to everyone when mid way between the the event, in the frenzy of Frank’s performance, the boy walked towards him and handed him a beautiful portrait of him.

response to that, Frank granted him free scholarship grant immediately to carry him until he finish his university education . He also promised him 100, 000 yearly grant apart from the school fees. This is to actually appreciate the boy for being talented. Another girl, Kasiri also got sponsorship from Frank the same time for performing an excellent song with her guitar. Meanwhile, UNN was agog with activities.

I think it is good to have a talent and to use it at the appropriate time.

MY PAST AS GAY WON'T MAKE WELCOME THE ACT. It totally out of God's context.

Pastor Donnie McClurkin is very unhappy right now with the recent ruling by the United States Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage in all states in the country.

While the Supreme Court ruling is considered historic to many people, it is bad news to many others, especially Bible-believing Christians.

McClurkin, who was once involved in a homos*xual lifestyle, was among many Christian leaders that took to social media to express their displeasure after the apex court decided to legalize gay marriage in the country in a 5-4 verdict.

“God has set the only standard for marriage to be between man and woman…in biology, in physiology, in history, biblically & spiritually and that..I will NEVER speak against,” the minister and renowned gospel singer wrote in a post on Facebook.

The pastor also had Bible references to back up his argument.

“What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be true and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: ‘so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged,’” McClurkin wrote, quoting Roman 3:3, 4.

He noted that the end has come and urged the church to “arise now and STAND in evangelism with the TRUE GOSPEL or BOW its knee to this new society and counterfeit gospel.”

Although some people will argue that the gospel singer is in no position to talk against the legalization of gay marriages given his homos*xual past, he is seemingly not intimidated by that reality, believing that old things have passed away. He says he has been delivered by God.

McClurkin, who pastors at Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, New York, had a troubled childhood. Days after his 2-year-old brother was knocked down and killed by a speeding driver, 8-year-old McClurkin and a couple of his sisters were s*xually molested by their mother’s uncle. That encounter had set off homos*xual tendencies in the young man, and things remained that way until he was delivered.

Reverend Franklin Graham, Billy Graham’s son, was another one of the Christian leaders who have expressed their thoughts on the Supreme Court decision.

“The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled today that same-s*x marriage is legal in all 50 states,” he wrote. “With all due respect to the court, it did not define marriage, and therefore is not entitled to re-define it.”

To back up his argument, Graham quoted Genesis 2:24, which says: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” He said actions such as the welcoming of gay marriage draw America closer to God’s judgment.

EXPOSED!!! THE SECRET BEHIND THE SUCCESS STORY OF PASTOR SAM ADEYEMI

“I really did not have much feelings for him, but as time went on I heard God tell me that he was the man for me,”
Anyone that is interested in acquiring leadership and management skills is probably familiar with the teachings of Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the founder of Daystar Christian Centre in Lagos. The Kogi State-born preacher, who has become a successful motivational speaker and writer, owes the success of his ministry and vision to his lovely wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Nike who runs the Real Women Foundation, a motivational and healing ministry for women.
The Church, it its headquarters in Lagos, was founded in 1995 at the Eko Chinese Restaurant with a couple of pioneer members. Today, the congregation boasts of over 22,000 members. The maxim that behind every successful man there is a woman comes into play in the union of Pastors Sam and Nike as he publicly acknowledges how his wife molded him in a lot of ways, beginning with his dressing. The couple met about 22 years ago; before Daystar Christian Centre was planted and it was definitely not love at first sight. Nike would recall that she wondered how someone could be so skinny. Nike had just started attending the church and became a worker while Sam was already a Pastor. “I really did not have much feelings for him, but as time went on I heard God tell me that he was the man for me,” she revealed.
One day, she introduced herself to him telling him that she liked her pastors to know her. Several months later, Pastor Sam and an Assistant Pastor exchanged pleasantries with her after service one Sunday, and after sometime went on to visit her, where he used the opportunity to view her family album. The story of the birth of Daystar Christian Centre is incomplete without the two lovebirds because everything about the church was done in unison. Even the name ‘Daystar’ was jointly chosen. “2 Peter 1:19 says that Jesus is the Daystar and that was how my husband and I agreed on the name,” Nike revealed. “I can still remember clearly, I felt like my ministry was stagnated and things were not moving for me. So I decided to pray.
I remember that day in April 1994, my wife and I went to Lekki beach, fasting and to pray. I was praying, asking God about the next level; where do I go from here?” God spoke to me and asked me to continue with the prayer and fasting. After days, He said I should stop the fasting but go ahead with the prayer and I obeyed. Sometime in July that year, the Lord spoke to me clearly one morning that He was going to take me to the next level of ministry to teach Biblical success principles. He said I would not be able to do the things He wanted me to do in my former pastorate, because He was asking me to teach success on radio, television, tapes, publications and seminars. In addition, I was to establish a church that would help people discover and release their potentials. I got the vision for Success Power International and Daystar Christian Centre on the same day. I remember I called a group of people, just a few friends and shared the vision with them,” Pastor Sam said. The Church aspect started after the radio programmes, but it wasn’t always as rosy as it is now.

“On November 18, 1995, Daystar Christian Centre was inaugurated. The inauguration was an interesting period in that we didn’t have the required resources and we could not afford the type of accommodation we were getting. Hotels, banquet halls or some duplexes were between N200, 000 and N250, 000 per annum and they wanted us to pay two years rent. Eventually, the inauguration was held at Eko Chinese Restaurant on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, on the fourth floor. “Interestingly, I was carrying along my radio audience, telling them about the transition of my life. We had quite a large crowd that day. Long after that, it became a bit tough to pay the bills. I was on radio, paying N7, 000 every week for the 15 minutes broadcast and then we were paying N13, 000 per week for the use of the restaurant. Then, the radio station doubled the rate for the broadcast and we couldn’t cope. We took broadcast off Raypower to OGBC2. We needed some breathing space, so we could keep on the church. However, we couldn’t afford to pay for the restaurant too, regularly.
I remember clearly the day I got to church in the morning and met my workers outside. They told me they were not allowed into the hall. I went in and spoke to the manager, who was playing games with his friends in the hall we were supposed to use for our service. I told him to let us run the service and pay him afterwards with the offerings, but he declined. Eventually, we reached a compromise. Our service was between 9 and 11am, but he said he would take his money at 10am. I felt once we had started the service, he won’t be able to stop us. Ten minutes to 10am, an usher came with a message that a man was threatening to shut down the generating set. Rather than take offerings at the end of the service, I took over and took the offerings and quickly paid him.
After three months, we knew we had to move,” Pastor Sam recalled. They then moved to Coker Village, Alausa, which was mistaken for the one in Iganmu area of Lagos. People were often taken to the wrong location. Pastor Sam remembered that the Church was in a dirty environment and people they shared the building with would sometimes disturb their service by playing loud music. “I dreamt one Saturday morning that we moved to a new location. I saw us dedicating a building. I saw Bishop Oyedepo and his wife planting a tree in the place. It had fresh leaves and while he pronounced blessings, I saw people rush to that location.
There was a large crowd within a few minutes and then we were through with the occasion. When I woke up, I knew it was a vision from God. I asked God ‘how do we turn this into reality?’ He asked for three weeks of prayer and fasting. We obeyed! Few days before the end of the fast, we saw ‘To Let’ on a warehouse on 71, Oregun Road (now Kudirat Abiola Way). That was how we got our present church office,” he said. Today, the ministry is worth over N2billion! Most people refer to Daystar as a ‘Prosperity’ Church.
However, the ministry was directed by God, the Adeyemis insist. “We had started the Church and for three to four years it looked like the Church was not growing. The Holy Spirit told me that if I helped the people solve problems in their lives, the Church would grow. I thought to myself and realised that after sin, the biggest problem of people is money. All I had taught until then was giving,” Pastor Sam said. One revelation of economic insights from the Bible concerning money was from 2 Kings 4; that there is always something in an individual’s hand that God could use to cause him or her to prosper. “One of the most powerful revelations Pastor Sam had received which transformed the congregation was on saving. When you have savings, you’re not just starting from zero level. You have some form of confidence to go out and do what you want to do. This was so important because at the time, many didn’t have savings,” she admitted.
Pastor Nike studied Architecture earning an M.Sc from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, and MBA from Business Studies Netherlands. She further trained in Strategic Perspective for Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Researchers and Administrators of Nigeria, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Social Workers among others. Like her husband, she is an author, seminar facilitator and television host with her programme, ‘Real Woman with Nike’. She is also an international conference speaker and has been privileged to minister within and outside Nigeria. She is also visible in the Daystar Leadership Academy, a leadership development centre to empower youths and help them in maximizing their potentials. She is one of the key facilitators at the school handling ‘Family Success’ and other course modules.

Pastor Nike also pioneered the Pneuma Publishing Limited, an information resource management company duly registered by the ministry in 1995 under the Corporate Acts Commission of Nigeria. The business was established just for the passion for books and information. She started by selling local and foreign books that had aided her growth and development while growing up. This, she did, within the living room, through encouragement from her husband, who later wrote the book, Start With What You Have. Then a shop was acquired simultaneously as Sam Adeyemi’s published books and audio messages which later became best sellers. Pneuma Publishing House became the sole publisher of Adeyemi’s books which rakes in a monthly income of N10 million. Pastor Nike also runs a motherless babies home (Love Home orphanage) where she takes care of abandoned children and the less privileged, taking them off the streets and giving them food, clothing and shelter. Recently, she opened a rehabilitation centre for prostitutes and women in distress.

MUMMY FAITH OYEDEPO.. WOMAN OF MANY VIRTUES. ||Ladies Corner||

As human beings that we are we some times appear not to see beyond the present situations and circumstances. We want to live in the reality of our dreams and live in the future we’ve painted.
Interestingly, it doesn’t always work that way. There’s always a process involved and only the patient ones will live to enjoy the benefits of the processing periods.

I read this someone on the internet and I am sure it will minister to someone who is too radical with the ‘present’
This is a process period of Bishop and Mrs Oyedepo, It deep and filled with lessons for all. Enjoy and remember to drop your comments.
1. She met him at a Motor Park
2. She was a university student – GREAT IFE while he was only a Polytechnic student in Kwara Poly (Remember the discrimination) – she could have snubbed him – but she responded.
3. His friends complained that he was carrying Christianity too zealously as if he was the only Christian – she became zealous too.
4. He took her to church in 1976 and made her sign an agreement (SAILING UNDER SEALED ORDERS) to marry and follow him whether he becomes blind, lame or handicapped… she signed.
5. Just before he married her, he told her God had sent him to LIBERATE THE Worlds (while he was still hopping between jobs) and went on to resign his job; his elder brother lambasted him, she stuck to him.
6. He told her God had shown him the key to prosperity – she believed.
7. He told her they would build a 50,000 capacity tent and preach the gospel from private jets – she believed her dreamer lover.
8. He was too ‘buoyant’ to afford a hotel room on his wedding eve, he slept in his rickety Volkswagen beetle – she married him.
9. During a moment of insane faith, he ordered a mad man to be put in his car alone with her while she was pregnant; she remained.
10. She saw she was dripping blood while pregnant and explained to him that she had a miscarriage, he shouted “It CANNOT Happen, can I have my food please” – she served him food.
11. She just had their first baby and there was no food or money at home. He refused to borrow or ask or take from church money and they were drinking/eating “CERELAC Baby food’ for 3 days – she ate with him.
12. She came to church one day and saw him so excited with few members while waiting for service to start; he explained to her that service was actually over – she laughed.
13. People kept praying for her and her husband as they seemed to be crazy and needed deliverance-she kept faith.

18. She didn’t know he would be hosted by Presidents and Heads of States of nations.
19. She didn’t know he would be a Chancellor and Pioneer of one of the best Private Universities in the world…..and others.
20. She woke up one day on her sick bed in the USA and unexpectedly saw her hubby who had flown in quietly from Nigeria and had refused to wake her up…..he was kneeling on the floor by her legs and crying ‘Lord, heal her and prove that you sent me”- She got healed miraculously…more than once! All she saw was a Man with A BIG GOD inside him.
21. She said to her husband ‘Honey,we need to change the school of this children’. The school is no longer what it used to be. Parents are complaining and they aren’t doing anything about it. Her husband Bishop David Oyedepo responded: Why? No! She never altered a word after that. She went back to God on her kneels in Prayers. She prayed: God touch the heart of your son who is my husband. You alone understand this present situation. Let him see reasons with what I am saying. Not up to a day, her husband the Bishop said to her: Honey, that reminds me. You made mention of we changing the children’s school, how far have you gone with it? This was a man that said why? no earlier on. She never argued with him but rather went back to her God.

Deitrick Haddon open letter to TD Jakes, but some are calling Haddon’s behavior irresponsible

There is no doubt that Deitrick Haddon is a pretty blunt celebrity preacher. Haddon, whose life has had a good share of rough patches, feels that preachers should be more open about themselves.
Report has it that he threw a challenge at other men of the cloth and said, “If you are a real person, if you are bringing it for real, you shouldn’t be afraid of this show. Open up your doors, Bishop Jakes! Open up your doors, Creflo Dollar. Open up your doors, Bishop Morton!”
The 42-year-old, who stars in and produces the Oxygen network’s megahit, “Preachers of L.A.,” believes he shouldn’t be criticized for becoming a reality star and that it would be great if more celebrity preachers starred in their own shows.
“Preachers of L.A” first debuted in October of 2013. According to Haddon, doing a reality show is not only a “great way to reach an even larger audience” but also offers the public a chance to intimately know the pastors. He boasts that this is the reason why the show is so successful.
However, he has had a tiff with other men of the cloth who are apparently not as passionate as he is about his philosophy.
Rev. James C. Perkins, the pastor of Greater Christ Baptist Church in Detroit, criticized Haddon’s show on Bet.com last year.
“I don’t think the show represents the best of the Black church tradition,” Perkins told BET. “The downside is that people often paint all pastors with a broad brush and, after watching this show, they may well begin to associate all pastors with those behaviors. There are many pastors who are out here serving the people and not just serving themselves.”
Haddon had previously bared himself in the show, confessing that he has blundered in his personal life and had fallen from grace.
He had abandoned the church he at one time pastored in Detroit and plunged into a life of pleasure in Los Angeles. He also talked about fathering his first daughter out of wedlock, explaining that that is all buried behind him. He said that after persistent turmoil and criticism, he feels grounded once again.
A few years back, there were shock waves in the gospel music world following revelations that Haddon and his wife of 15 years, Damita, had quietly divorced and that he was expecting a child with his current wife and former mistress, Domonique.
His concern is that pastors feel that they are just supposed to show people Jesus, and not their downside — their humanity.
“[The people] have the right to know the real you. I’m not saying you are going to get two worlds because it should be consistent with what you are preaching about,” the controversial star said.
Haddon specifically threw the challenge to Bishop T.D. Jakes, who dismissed it. According to Jakes, he has no time to do reality TV.
“I’m a little bit busy; I’m doing movies; I’m doing television; I’ve done talk shows. I’ve pastored to 30,000 people. I think my plate is full,” was Jakes reply with a smile.

Pat Uwaje-King Release “He’s Done Me Well” album.

ALBUM ART
Pat Uwaje-King – one of Africa’s leading Gospel music icons and midnight crew leader – as she gets set for the release of her debut solo album, she has taken her time to give us insight into the collection that makes up the finest contemporary work of art and ministry yet.
“He’s Done Me Well”, Pat Uwaje-King’s latest offering, is a collection of original pieces that is reminiscent of the era of Gospel legends such as Funmi Aragbaye, Good Women choir, Panam Percy Paul and more but employs elements of contemporary music as put together by some of the finest hands in music production such as Wole Oni, Willz, El Jamin, Mr Daz, JTreash, Sammy Young and Joe Pee laced with the rich & anointed vocals of Uwaje-King and other featured artistes bringing on nostalgia for the old time religion without losing the essence of the present days.
Speaking on the forthcoming album, Pat Uwaje-King said;
“Yes, this is my first solo album and the release has been slated for the 3rd of June. I have great expectations from the album due to the virtue that has gone into its production phase – both spiritual and human. ”
During Midnight crew’s 12th Anniversary in 2013, the group announced a need for the amazing four to find expressions and extend tentacles while Midnight crew serves as the springboard from where all other projects will be birthed, hence, the exploration of Pat Uwaje-King and Mike Abdul on solo album projects. It will not come as a surprise if more members of the group follow in the same footsteps.
“There is just too much enveloped in each member and it will be an anomaly to just sit on it and not let all these gifts find expressions.” Pat Uwaje-King said. “I, for instance, have been involved in breeding new talents, coordinating events and as you know, will be releasing my solo album in a few days. Mike Abdul has also released an album under his own label which houses 2 other artistes who are already breaking major grounds. G-Minor has been deeply involved in the coordination of the Zera mass choir and all of us have had to depend on Odunayo Ojo-Onasanya for our projects, as far as quality and wisdom is concerned. We are still very much involved in the group and I am sure you have seen our recent video for the song ‘Mo Dibo’. We are just leveraging on the platform we already have for individual expression.”
Pat Uwaje-King who has been on the album project for about 10 months emphasized on the massive support she has received from every member of the Midnight crew who also rendered their effort on the track “Mbene”. The album cuts across various genres including African Praise Medley, Pop, Soul, Reggae, amongst others and while it includes some of her released singles such as “Eze”, “All Power” and “He’s Done Me Well”, such tracks as “Iyu Kayin Nene”, “Winner”, “Hear my Call”, “Hossana” and more, will also make phenomenal impact when the work is released.
“I am very excited about this album!” She blurted. “It will be very hard to skip any track (laughs). I believe it will not only bless Africa but will also define the future of Gospel music.”
Apart from being the Leader of the Midnight Crew, Pat Uwaje-King is a music consultant, Event Coordinator and Facilitator. She is the CEO of GPK Records, the platform releasing the “He’s Done Me Well” album. Burstme wish Pat Uwaje-King God's best in her endeavors.
